For those of you who don't know, I've been working on a lifelong passion project called the "24-Hour Hits Festival"; over two nights of twelve hours each, the biggest artists from history (or impersonators) perform major medleys of their biggest hits.
I've been working on demo medleys for each artist, varying in length based on their popularity, combining their hits in Logic Pro to coordinate both BPM and key signatures for potentially seamless transitions if played by a large orchestra.
From the two-minute "Roxette" medley to the thirty-minute "Elvis Presley" medley, it's been a great pleasure to learn about the history of popular music in the last century through listening, reading, and getting into the nitty-gritty of each composition.
